Challenge

  • To celebrate the one year anniversary of the Last Empire War Z mobile game with a bang by creating a high octane series of viral videos and distributing it across social media.
  • To put an unknown game in Western Territories on the map and to generate real excitement, downloads and win new fans of the game.

Approach

  • We developed a strategy consisting of hero content with the aim of increasing awareness, tapping into youth culture trends and ultimately encouraging installs.
  • Re-creation of the game and bringing it to life through a Zombie Parkour Action POV Chase through abandoned buildings and across rooftops.
  • Distribution of content in partnership with global Social Publishers and Influencers, to generate targeted awareness and hype around the game for the anniversary.
  • Amplification of content through in-house developed strategies across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram, to drive traffic to the hero content and the game itself.
  • Targeted Paid Media Strategy to target potential gamers of similar games and market leading games in the mobile gaming space.
